Being a part of the blogging community has helped me find blogs that can lead me in the right direction when it comes to saving some serious cash. Another great way to save money, that works if you have kids in college, or if it is you in college, or even kids taking college classes, is using Campus Book Rental.
I remember when I was taking college classes. I bought a ton of books and they told me I can sell them back at the end of the year. Each book was over $200 a piece but I felt better that I’d get something back for them later on. Here is the problem. At least 3 of those books were retired at the end of the year. That means, they do not buy them back. Guess who was out of luck. I ended up not getting any money back, AND I had to find a way to recycle these books, because I can’t just throw them away.
